Marco is a barrier island. That means some of the highest FEMA base flood elevations in Southwest Florida, full exposure to Gulf wind, canal-front and beachfront lots, and one of the strictest design-review processes on the coast. There is very little margin for getting the details wrong.
Fort handles the island’s realities under one roof. Civil and structural engineering, in-house design, and construction on one contract, with a licensed architect to seal the drawings. The flood elevation, the wind calcs, and the design-review submittal are reconciled before permit, not after a costly kickback.
