Collier Seawall needed a warehouse to support its marine construction operation in Naples: a 3,750 square foot, ground-up commercial building on a Collier County site. Fort served as the project’s permitting agent and general contractor, carrying the building from permit plans through construction to a finished, operating warehouse.
The challenge
A simple building still carries a full commercial load
A warehouse is straightforward in concept, but a ground-up commercial build is never just four walls and a roof. It still has to clear the full weight of commercial permitting and code compliance, and it has to come together on a schedule a working business can plan around. For a marine contractor whose own crews are out on the water, the building going up back at the yard needs to be handled by someone who can run it without constant oversight.
Our approach
One accountable builder, permit to handover
Fort ran the permitting and the construction as a single accountable point of contact. The same team that shepherded the plans through the county carried them into the field, so constructability questions were answered before they became delays, and the owner had one number to call rather than a chain of separate parties pointing at each other. That discipline shows up where it matters on a commercial site: a clean, contained jobsite and a predictable schedule.
The outcome
A warehouse ready to work
The building is complete and supports Collier Seawall’s operation today. From permit plans to a finished warehouse, the project ran through a single contractor accountable for both the paperwork and the build.
